The aim is to highlight the powerful impact that narrative has on our identity and on the way we perceive the world.
The project establishes a connection between past and present by juxtaposing archival documents with the works of NABA triennium artists. Through the reinterpretation of historical materials and artistic interpretations, it explores the relationship between memory and contemporaneity, opening new perspectives on the future.
Focusing in particular on the Teatro del Popolo and the Casa degli Emigranti – emblematic symbols of Società Umanitaria’s engagement – the exhibition investigates memory as a dynamic process of rediscovery and the attribution of new meaning. Each artistic intervention functions as an act of rewriting, capace of updating the past and making it alive in the present.
